The research aim of the article is to determine the legal rules related to marriage in the earliest writings of the primary Christianity, that is dated to the post-apostolic period and to the activities of the apologists of the IIth century. The research query indicated that the writers of the post-apostolic period put more emphasis on maintaining by the spouses harmonious relationships between each other, preserving evangelical recommendations and gaining moral virtues.
